Stalida or Stalis (Greek: Σταλίδα) is a coastal village located in Malia, approximately 30 km from Heraklion. The village has been developed recently to a very popular holiday resort with many hotels and taverns and bars.
Although not as lively as the neighboring Malia and Hersonissos, the resort attracts plenty of tourists of all ages looking for a fun, relaxing holiday. A sandy beach extends along the coast that is well looked after and very organized with water sport activities available.
