Located in the prefecture of Lasithi, Plaka Beach is the beautiful rocky beach of the synonymous village. Plaka Village is a 15 km drive from the center of Agios Nikolaos and 5 km away from the nearby popular small town of Elounda.
You are most likely to visit Plaka when you try to reach Spinalonga Island as the ferry departs from Plaka. The beach has amazing turquoise waters and is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas.
Additionally, tavernas, coffee shops and mini markets are found close by should you need to buy coffee, water or have something to eat.
