Koumos Restaurant

Koumos restaurant is located in the village of Kalyves on the east side of Chania and offers a unique setting unlike any other in Crete.

Serving breakfast, lunch or dinner, the restaurant resembles a traditional stone village. Interesting fact is that everything was hand built with rocks from the White Mountains.

Koumos also includes a small stone church of Saint Lydia, as well as a museum area where you can find items from World War II.

The name Koumos comes from the traditional word for the sheppard's stone houses in the mountains of Crete.
