Almyrida (Greek: Αλμυρίδα) is a harbour village located in the Apokoronas region and approximately 25 kilometers from the center of Chania.
The village has seen significant growth over the past years thanks to its serene location which places it close enough to the city but also far away.
There are numerous resorts and villas around the area, in addition to some cafés and restaurants as well as supermarkets and bars. The beaches in Almyrida are all organized with sunbeds and umbrellas and there is also water sports available if you want to surf or sail.
