Amazonas Park is an animal park and rescue center located between Malia and Agios Nikolaos, an approximate 25 minute drive from each. It is accessible from the village of Neapoli and a drive up the mountain.
The park has been open since 2011 and features exotic animals from South America, such as parrots and monkeys, in addition to the domestic animals of goats and donkeys.
The zoo is an enjoyable experience for the whole family and shouldn’t take you more than 45 minutes to an hour to go from start to finish. Depending on the time of the day, there is feeding of the animals, where you get the chance to feed the monkeys and the lemurs, which is great fun and shouldn’t be missed!

Adult ticket 10 euro, under 18 years old 8 euro and kids under 3 years old go free.
