Ammoudi beach is organised with umbrellas and sunbeds, however since this is a relatively small beach, there are only a few available, so you might not be able to get a spot. That being said, the beach is not very popular, but it is one of the best beaches to visit on the south part of Crete.
It is particularly popular with tourists staying in Plakias and are looking for an alternative to the Plakias beach, like the other three aforementioned beaches.
Ammoudi beach is located south of Rethymno close to Plakias, which is the largest town close by. Ammoudi is one of the four beaches of Damnoni, Klisidi and Ammoudaki beach, all which are a short walking distance from one to another.
