Archaeological Museum of Kissamos

The Archaeological Museum of Kissamos is located in the town square of Kissamos town which lays on the western part of Chania. The museum is housed in a two-story Venetian/Turkish building and presents impressive artifacts from the prehistoric times to early Christian times.

The exhibition is separated on two different levels, the ground floor which includes findings from the areas of Falassarna, Nopigia and Polyrinia, while the first floor exhibits findings from the area of Kissamos.

Opening Times: Tuesday- Sunday: 8:00 – 15:00

Admission Fee: 2 euro, reduced 1 euro.

Combo ticket for Archaeological Museum of Kissamos & Chania, Byzantine & Post-Byzantine Collection and Archaeological Site of Aptera: 6 euro, reduced 3 euro.
