Hersonissos or Chersonisos (Greek: Χερσόνησος) is a village situated between Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. It is 2 km away from the popular tourist destination that has the same name Hersonissos, which is officially called Hersonissos Harbour or Limenas Hersonissou in Greek.
