Situated on the west side of Crete in the area of Kissamos, Saint John Damialis church or Agios Ioannis Prodromos Damialis is on the main road which leads to Balos beach. It is a church built in the 10th century under an odd rock formation.
Next to the church, there is also a small cave and a tunnel which passes under the road leading to the tiny pebble and rocky Damialis beach. The waters are clear and deep with some rocks and trees around.
