Sarantaris Beach is located on the Heraklion regional unit and close to the popular area of Hersonissos. The many little coves, the beautiful waters rank this amongst the most visited beaches on the north side of Crete.
The beach is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, and there are a few mini markets and cafes/restaurants along the street as you pass the Limanakia and Gefyri beach.
Tip: There are parts where the high cliffs create a shadow, so you might not even need to bring your umbrella or even rent one!
