Spilies beach is situated in north Rethymno approximately 16km from the city center. Spilies means Caves in Greek and the beach has taken its nae from the nearby caves.
The beach is very serene and not extremely popular with tourists so it is the ideal place if you want to relax.
There are umbrellas and sunbeds as well as WC and a small tavern where you can have something to eat or drink.
